What a glorious celebration! An empty cross and an empty tomb - all for me and all for you! What a wonderful Savior!!! 24 of the family came for a mid day meal...we enjoyed the lovely day as we ate heartily seated on the deck.

Her Husband is Known in the Gates has been translated into Russian and published by T.E.A.R. in Moscow. The second printing has now been completed. Many of these books were given to ministers and their wives in a conference in Moscow the first week of May. Many were given at the Ladies' Conference in November, 2011. It is such a joy to think of the Lord placing this book in such a large number of Russian homes. Reports have said that there are no books for women such as this one.

Bending the Twig - Growing Godly Children God's Way - revised and now available. I am excited over this RE-publishing with the updates. Please pray that the Lord blesses with entrance into many homes and parents' hearts. Raising four children was one of the outstanding joys of Bernadine's life and she finds great joy in encouraging parents to raise their children God's way.

OUR HISTORY

SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS:

The Lord blessed us with four wonderful children: Jamey, Kandy, Wes and Juli. They gifted us with four additional children when they married Allen, Larry, Jane and Tim. These four families have made us proud Grandparents of twenty - two grandchildren: eleven grandsons and eleven granddaughters.

Our oldest grandson, Caleb married Rebekah and they have made us GREAT Grandparents: precious Brooke Cherith Kimbrough. Now, we have our first GREAT grandson, Caleb Waye Kimbrough, JR. Zach and Shay have Kathryn Mae born on December 27, 2009, and a son, Kievan born in January 2011.

ABOUT WES:

Wes retired after a 46-year business career with Lanier Business Products which became Lanier Worldwide, Inc. He started as a customer service representative and finished the course as Chairman/CEO. At the time of his retirement, Wes was inducted into the Horatio Alger Distinguished Americans. In the same time period, his alma mater, Southern Polytechnic State University recognized Wes with an honorary doctorate. He enjoys a continuing touch with the business world through having served as a Board member of Ann Taylor for ten years, and presently serves on the Board of Piedmont Office Real Estate Trust, and is Chairman of the Southern Polytechnic State University Foundation. Wes enjoys mentoring young business men and is a quarterly guest speaker for MBA students of GA State University.

ABOUT BERNADINE:

Bernadine has taught ladies across America. She has had the privilege of teaching, as well, in Puerto Rica, Belarus, Korea. A popular inspirational speaker for women's seminars and Bible studies, she is an effective Christian leader who works well with any age group. Her broad range of experience enables her to create an immediate rapport with secular groups as well as Christians. She has been an EXCEL teacher (an eight-week school for home educated young ladies from America and other countries. She has taught one of the weeks twice yearly for over sixteen years.) Speaking and teaching at Ladies' Conferences and retreats is one of her special loves. Being on the Board of The Evangelistic Association of Russia (T.E.A.R.) has been a wonderful blessing....it is a great ministry to orphans in Russia, and sees many come to Christ.

Experience through the years: (state of) Georgia Board of Education, Georgia Public Telecommunications Com., Southeastern Educational Improvement Lab, Principle Fundraiser/Atlanta Easter Seals, Human Development Resource Council Board, Challenger Films Board, Family Concerns, Inc. Board, Impact Ministries Board, Global Missions Fellowship Advisory Board, WAFS (local) Moody Radio station Advisory Board. She has ministered through the local church in teaching: 4-5 year old music programs, GAs, Women's Ministry Director, Discovery Discipler leader, Titus Woman/MOPS International, State Prayer Coordinator, Impact Ministries, Teacher/ATIA Mother’s Conferences, Christian Leaders’ Seminars/IBLP, Interior Design Continuing Education Classes, Volunteer Counselor, Women’s Ministry Director, Friendship Feminar Director, teacher/director of 8th grade, College age, and Young Marrieds.

At 8:00 A.M., Room B101, First Baptist Church, Woodstock each Sunday morning, you will find her teaching Women at her church.

TOGETHER:
Bernadine and Wes live in Atlanta. They co-teach a Sunday School class weekly at their church, 11:00 A.M., Room A161 First Baptist Church, Woodstock. They enjoy co-teaching the class and also teaching conferences and retreats together.
